Stolen Scrimshaw Alert

The scrimshaw tooth pictured below was recently stolen from a car in Brookline, MA.  The tooth, carved by Dr. L.R. Candels in the 1970s, is a tribute to Edouard Stackpole, noted Nantucket historian and author.  Anyone with information about the tooth is asked to contact the Brookline Police Department at 617-730-3222.
