  Scrimshaw & Nautical Antiques Weekend

35th Scrimshaw & Nautical Antiques Weekend
including the 14th Scrimshaw & Nautical Antiques Show

May 15-16-17, 2026 on Cape Cod
at The Lighthouse Inn, West Dennis, MA*

Presented by the Antique Scrimshaw Collectors Association

This May, enthusiasts, collectors, and armchair maritime historians will gather on Cape Cod to enjoy a unique Maritime Weekend, devoted to nautical antiques, scrimshaw, and folk art.  The event (first held in 1989) is celebrated for informative presentations, festive meals, auction previews, a top quality nautical antiques market, and for bringing together people from all across the nation (and a few from abroad) to share a mutual interest in our deeply held legacy of sailor arts and nautical lore.  The Friday symposium includes presentations by experts on a broad spectrum of artworks and artifacts; the Saturday Nautical Antiques Show (one of the world’s few remaining markets for authentic antique scrimshaw) is always of keen interest; and an optional Sunday field trip provides an opportunity to view a world-class private scrimshaw collection and enjoy brunch with fellow scrimshaw enthusiasts.
